The George Mason University Instructional Technology Program and the Defense Acquisition University invite you to attend the 4th Annual Innovations in e-Learning Symposium to be held on on June 3, 4 & 5, 2008 in the Johnson Center on the Fairfax Campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

The topics for this year's symposium are

  • Mobile Learning and Gaming

  • Web 2.0 and Cyberinfrastructure

  • Innovation Design and Research Partnerships

  • Collaboration in a Virtual World

This event is ideal for managers, learning officers, instructional and/or curriculum designers, learning consultants, instructors, researchers and training and development professionals from small to large size businesses, vocational schools, community colleges, colleges and universities, and government agencies and organizations.

Each workshop is a half-day. The registration fee for each workshop is $150. The registration fee includes a Certificate of Completion, breaks, lunch and parking. Registration is limited to 50 people per workshop so please register early.

*Participants attending the What is Web 2.0 and why should I care? workshop need to bring a laptop computer (Mac or PC) with wireless internet capability.

**Participants attending the Audacity 101:Hands-On Audio Editing workshop should bring a laptop computer (Mac or PC) with wireless internet capability to get the most out of the session.

Keynote Speakers

The registration fee for this two-day event is $250 and includes an opening night reception, breaks, two continental breakfasts, two lunches and parking.
